Most organisations are making great efforts to simplify their paperwork, but if you are still having problems there are several charities which have trained volunteers who can help you through the process of form filling and have the experience of dealing with forms which may be new to you. This help can speed up the process of getting financial help, benefits and grants and makes sure that forms are not returned because they are incorrectly completed.

Citizens Advice provides an online information service which can answer frequently asked questions and where you can download factsheets. You can also contact your local bureau and arrange for some face-to-face help with completing paperwork when applying for financial help, making a complaint or appealing against a decision.
