In local communities, across the Country, Guideposts helps thousands of people every year.

Over six million people suffer from mental illness in the UK, one million have learning disabilities and 700,000 suffer from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Of these, around 99% live in our communities as our relatives, friends and neighbours.

For many individuals and their families support is simply not available and without help and support many find themselves pushed to the margin of society and live a life of quiet desperation.

Guideposts work 365 days a year, 7 days a week to bring about change in the quality of life of vulnerable people and their carers by providing support, care, practical help and opportunities.
