Below is a list of upcoming meetings, support groups and events for carers in Warwickshire.

Rugby Area

Coffee and Conversation- Wednesday 14th September 11.00 am – 1.00 pm- Brookes Tea Shop, 15 Bank Street, Rugby, CV21 2QE

Enjoy a coffee and a chat with fellow carers.

Rugby Mental Health Support Group- Wednesday 28th September 2.00pm- 3.30pm -  Age UK, Claremont Centre, 43 Clifton Road, Rugby, CV21 3QE

The support groups are an opportunity for mental health carers to share their caring experiences, as well as receive information and support from other carers, in a safe and confidential environment.

Evening Meal- Thursday 29th September-6.00 pm- 8.00pm- Table Table, Clifton Road, Rugby.

Meet with other carers for good food and good company . Meal deals are available on the night.

Lunch Date- Wednesday 5th October- 1.00pm- 3.00pm – The Rose Tea Rooms, 25 Regent Street, Rugby

Enjoy a light lunch and meet with other carers.

Browse around the garden centre- 11.00am – 1.00pm – Blooms Garden Centre, A45 Straight Mile, Rugby

Relax and enjoy a look around the garden centre as well as a chat and a coffee.

Day Trip to the Festive Fair at The NEC Birmingham-Thursday 17th November-  Pick up points and times to be confirmed.

Christmas Meal- Tuesday 13th December- 6.00pm- 8.00pm – John Lees Hall, Regent Place, Rugby

Come along and enjoy a home cooked Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Places are limited so please call 0845 600 99 80 to confirm your place.

North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth

Lunch Date- Wednesday 12th October- 12.00 pm- 2.30 pm- The Chase, Higham Lane, Nuneaton, CV11 6AG

Coffee Morning- Wednesday 9th November- 10.30am – 12.30 pm , The Red Lion, Atherstone

Come along for a coffee in the conservatory with others carers.

Stratford Carers Group- 2nd Tuesday of the month 2.00-4.00pm Briar Croft, Stratford-Upon-Avon

Henley Carers Group-3rd Thursday of the month - 10.30 -12.30 pm- Dell Court, Cherry Orchard, Henley in Arden

Warwick Mental Health Support Group- Monday 19th September 7.00pm- 8.30pm -The Old Bank, 45 Coten End, Warwick, CV34 4NT

The support groups are an opportunity for mental health carers to share their caring experiences, as well as receive information and support from other carers, in a safe and confidential environment. This month’s guest speaker will be Caroline Coupe (Pharmacist) who will be carrying out a presentation on mental health medication as well as answering any questions you may have.

Studley Carers Group- 3rd Tuesday of the month  2.00- 4.00 pm- Studley Village Hall, Studley

Come along and meet other carers from the local area.

Stratford Parent Carers Cafe- Wednesday 21st September  10.00 am- 12.00 pm - St Andrews Parish Centre, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Leamington Carers Group  – 1st Monday of the month (week after if a Bank Holiday) - 11.00pm- 12.30pm- Brunswick Healthy Living Centre, Leamington Spa.

 

Warwick Learning Disability Group – 3rd Wednesday of the month, 11.00-1.00, Hill Close Gardens, Bread and Meat Close, Warwick
