Warwickshire Home Page
Guideposts Warwickshire provides innovative services across the county ensuring you and those you care for have independence and choice about how you live. Our trained staff can help you with personal and practical care, information, specialist training and advice – all just a phone call or mouse-click away. We even have a Community Café in Nuneaton and a catering service in Atherstone. Because our services are specific to Warwickshire, we have knowledge and expertise about the area which helps us help you more effectively and immediately.
Your needs and wishes are at the heart of what Guideposts does. We take a person-centred approach to all the work we do. This means putting you first. We listen carefully to you to provide the best care, advice and information possible.
Our DementiaWeb and Dementia Information Service for Carers supports those working with or caring for people living with dementia, our Carer Support Service reaches out to anyone who is a carer, offering a wide-ranging knowledge of issues and situation carers face. Our Help at Home service gives home-based care to anyone finding it harder to cope at home, for example if they are elderly or infirm. All our services offer practical help, information and advice – and a confidential listening ear to help you find what is available to help you take control and make the best possible choices for your life.
Our Community Café in Nuneaton is friendly, affordable and accessible. As well as serving great food it holds a number of workshops, support and wellbeing sessions, and one-off seasonal events and celebrations, and has become a lively community hub. Our Shortcrust catering service supports people in our community, who are otherwise disadvantaged in the labour market, through an innovative training and work-placement scheme.
In all our work we start from the viewpoint that every person is deserving of dignity and choice.
