Payroll and Corporate Giving

GIVE THROUGH WORK This is one of the most tax effective ways to donate to Guideposts, especially if you are a higher rate taxpayer. Payroll donations are deducted at source from your gross pay, which means that if you are a basic rate tax payer a donation of £1 will cost you £0.80p, whilst if you are a higher rate tax payer a donation of £1 will cost you £0.60p.

Donations through payroll giving enable us to predict our budget and thus plan ahead on our projects and services. If as an individual, you would like to make a regular payroll donation, just ask your employer’s payroll department if they run a scheme.

You can change or stop your monthly donation whenever you want by informing your payroll department. If they do not offer a scheme, you can still make a regular donation by direct debit. [hyperlink to donate by direct debit page]

Charity of the Year

Simply adopt Guideposts as your charity of the year and your company’s support will be promoted through all of our internal and external communication channels, offering positive image and PR opportunities locally and nationally.

Gifts in Kind

Donate gifts in kind to us relevant to your business, which we could include in raffle or auction prizes. This will help increase awareness of your brand and raise vital funds for Guideposts work. You could even donate your unwanted office equipment, or you could challenge your staff to fill a bag with good quality second-hand goods to donate to our  charity shop in Tewkesbury!
