At Guideposts in Oxfordshire we have around xx staff and work with XX people providing innovative services for people with dementia, young people and adults with learning disabilities, carers and older people. We also provide integrated after school and holiday care for children—both those in the mainstream and those with learning disabilities. Our Independent Living Centre based in Abingdon provides a demonstration and resource centre that aims to promote independent living for adults; enabling choice, control and easy access to a range of services and a range of equipment specially designed to make life easier and maintain independence in the home.

Our vision is of a society where all people are valued and have equality of opportunity. We deliver and develop quality person-centred and innovative services. We are committed to working in partnership with people to develop services that don’t just meet individual needs but help people to have a good life.

We believe services are better when they fully involve the people that use them. We hugely value feedback and for those interested we have a forum for service users to look at how we can further improve our services.
