Interact

Guideposts ‘Interact’ service is focussed on supporting vulnerable adults with relationships and sexuality issues.  We have developed a training program specifically designed to help people with learning disabilities tackle issues around relationships and sexual awareness and provide a range of extra support services to compliment this training.  Staff are also given training in relationship issues, abuse awareness and positive communication.

Interact also provides one-to-one consultancy work, one day workshops for service users, group facilitation and a social group for adults with learning disabilities who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender.  The Interact service tackles issues such as self esteem, how to act appropriately in public and provate, boundaries and sexual and non-sexual relationships.
