Guideposts Trust was established in Gloucestershire 10 years ago to work in the local community offering care, support and opportunity to those who are facing social exclusion and disadvantage, and who are vulnerable and frail.
We provide direct services to a wide range of users including children and young people with special needs, people with learning disabilities, people with or recovering from mental health problems; older people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia; and carers.
Our main objective is to help our users to live as independently as possible, be an integral part of their community, socialise, make friends, have access to community facilities and ressources, develop skills, access training, gain employment, achieve healthy and safe lifestyles and have a better quality of life.
Guideposts in Gloucestershire is based at St. James’ Court, 285 Barton Street, Gloucester, GL1 4JE
