Ask family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. Your employer may have a matched giving scheme which is an easy way of doubling what you raise!
Set up an online sponsorship page.
Please do not collect money from door to door. This is illegal without a licence and Guideposts organises this nationally.
Tell the world about it
Advertise your event using posters, emails, Twitter and Facebook. Let us know about your event and we will post it our website, and send out a press release
Don’t forget to take to take pictures on the day and / or video your event and send them to us so we can put them on this website and say THANK YOU!

Thank everybody involved in your event.
Send us pictures and videos which we will post on the website and/ or Post on Facebook and Youtube or email them to all your supporters to thank them for their generosity.
Don’t forget to pay the money in and tell us which project or service you would like to support.
