The Holiday Scheme

We arrange one holiday per year for some of the people who benefit from the Community Activity Scheme, but who would also benefit from a holiday and thereby give their carers a longer break.

The Holiday Project is funded through Hertfordshire Adult Care Services, Guideposts Trust and contributions. Destinations have included Morrocco, Somerset, Norfolk and Devon.

The holiday is usually of one week duration for up to a maximum of 6 people, who are involved in the planning of the holiday including agreeing the choice of destination and type of accommodation.
