Our purpose

Guideposts Trust exists to:

• Provide direct services in the community for people with or recovering from mental health issues, for people with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia, for people with a learning disability and for children with special needs ;

• Develop excellence in our work and to disseminate good practice;

• Research areas of practical need, train volunteers and professional staff and through its care research centre, develop a model of care that aims to improve standards nationally.
